Over a third (32.6%) of young South Africans are struggling to find employment, including recent graduates. This is a worrying trend that needs to be addressed.
To combat this issue, MICT-SETA and Deviare are offering an exciting opportunity for 15 unemployed graduates from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. The Data Science Internship Programme will provide these young people with valuable skills and experience in an industry that is in high demand.
The Data Science Internship Programme is just one example of how MICT-SETA is working to address the issue of youth unemployment. By providing practical training and work experience, we are helping young graduates to gain the skills they need to succeed in the job market.
Requirements:
The following are application requirements:
- Unemployed youth age between 18 – 35
- South African citizens
- Only applicants with a three-year (diploma or degree) in same field, or higher certificate or occupational qualification at NQF Level 5.
- Eastern Cape residents
