Position Summary

QPro Feeds is a dynamic Animal Feed Manufacturing business with a facility in both Bethlehem and Vrede.  We are responsible for producing animal feed to in-house clients as well as external clients in the monogastric and ruminant fields.


 Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • At least 3-years proven work experience within an administrative role
  • Proven working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Working experience with Navision will be an advantage

Duties

  • Receive visitors at the reception area.
  • Assist and direct visitors to relevant staff member.
  • Communicate and liaise (verbally and written) between Customers/ suppliers and visitors to and from employees.
  • Answer all incoming calls.
  • Direct / transfer calls to designated person.
  • Messages: Take messages, communicate message to receiver (verbally or written).
  • Make calls for Management staff as requested.
  • Arrange for new office numbers and short dials with contract supplier to be added to switchboard.
  • Capturing data from physical documents onto Excel of the accounting system on a daily basis.
  • Stand in for other admin personal in the office if and when required.
  • Typing, printing, and binding: Relevant to the job function.
  • Sorting: Incoming mail and other documentation relevant to the job function.
  • Any filling related to the job function.
  • Weekly and monthly stock take.
  • Purchasing or ordering of new consumables or stationery.
  • Appointments: Making of appointments for relevant Management team.
  • Reservations for the boardroom.
  • Couriers: Sending and receiving of parcels.
  • Handle analyzes and send to lab.
  • CAL and other Laboratories : Sending and receiving analysis of products – and give feedback.
  • AFMA & SAGIS monthly returns
  • Complete general administration as applicable to the job function – neat and accurate.
  • Updating and data capturing of records and reports.
  • Provide support to end users on standardized and ad hoc administration.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in office according to housekeeping procedures.
  • Identify and report any health and safety related issues.
